I purchased 2 griddle tops for the purpose of cooking pancakes for a church youth weekend. The griddle plates were first put on a residential gas stove at low heat. The griddles warped badly even at low heat. They were then placed in a gas grill but the griddle was too far above the flame and would not get up to temperature. Lastly the griddles were place on the camping stove that it is advertised for. The griddles warped badly again. I then went to a hardware store and purchased a different griddle that worked beautifully. Policy states that the griddles cannot be returned because they were used. Do not buy this item. I have always been pleased with Webrestaurant but this item needs to be removed from inventory.

I too ran into the same problem as the other reviewers. It seems as though the griddle should have been seasoned before use but I did not see it recommended anywhere. Looking to get a replacement griddle. Also, the griddle tends to get too hot directly underneath the burners causing uneven heat distribution to the griddle. Wanted to share my experience in case you were looking into buying this product.
